Amanda Plemmons

Amanda Plemmons is our science editor. With over 20 years and a degree in informal science education, she contributes to science in the public eye in many ways. She’s developed, written and programmed planetarium shows, stage and individual/small group science shows, web content and more – for Western Washington University and the Pacific Science Center in Seattle, among other venues. She does community science such as astronomy “star parties” and viewings, presents at Science Fiction conventions in the Pacific Northwest, and helps our authors understand and write about science fact in our science fiction.
